Alexis was born with a cleft palate, so she may not look exactly like most of you. Yesterday I saw this picture going around with some of the meanest comments I’ve ever read. Some of the people posting were people I follow and my followers. The same people that begged tumblr to turn purple to stop the bullying of homosexuals. What makes this any different? You’re being a bully to her, just as people were bullying homosexuals. Half of you that rudely commented are the ones claiming to get made fun of on a daily basis, you are the ones that claim that “everyone is beautiful”. What makes you superior to her? hm? Answer that for me. NOTHING. Despite her physical challenges, she is one of the sweetest people I have ever talked to. She is still a great friend to everyone. She is not ugly. She is absolutely beautiful. And the bullying of her, and other people, needs to stop. I don’t care who the hell you are. If I see you bullying someone else, I’ll unfollow you. I don’t care if you’re my favorite person in the world. It’s time for you ignorant assholes to stop being hypocrites and start treating people with the respect they deserve. She is not the ugly one. She’s beautiful both on the inside and out. That’s more than I can say about you jerks.
